Bliss balls are such a great little snack, especially for kids lunch boxes. They are great to have on hand for a nutritional boost, or afternoon pick me up, rather than reaching for carb filled low nutrient snack, these are such a great option..and so easy to make. Perfect for those chocolate cravings too.
This recipe is quite versatile, you can use whatever nuts and seeds and nut butters you have on hand, hemp and sunflower seeds are great options and other nut butters like almond or sunflower butter are great alternatives.
The chia, sesame and linseeds and particularly walnuts in this recipe all contain a good amount of omega 3’s, they’re a great alternative to a supplement or fish. Plus they’re loaded with other nutrients such as protein, fiber, magnesium, calcium and iron(1). An all round powerhouse nutrient snack!

I’ve avoided dates in this recipe as I find them too sweet, 2 tbsp of rice syrup is all I’ve used as sweetener, you can increase this if you find them too bitter.
Heres the recipe
Enjoy!
